Phone call number 3

Hello Friends
I just want to say a big thank you to all of you sending emails, writing comments, and praying for me. Everytime I come to the internet it's like a hug from home. I feel so much love here even being so far away! It's awesome! God is good.

Just a quick blog as I am short on time. Yesterday I recieved call number 3...YES! Although it was 2 am here it was still awesome to talk to people. The 3rd call came c/o International teams. A missionary who just returned was doing a presentation and as part of the evening they feature a special "Live from Rwanda" with yours truly. I was so happy to be involved and to talk about what God has been doing in my life and in Rwanda. I hope that I was helpful!

Alright well that's it for now...time is ticking away.
I love and miss you
ps. I was talking to a friend today(Fowler) who told me she showed Dale (my vball coach) how to access and read the blog...so a very special "HALLO DALE!" goes out to you coach. Now you just have to figure out how to make comments;)

    Erin --

Its sad that Ed, who doesn't know you, has posted way more comments than any of us who love you...Ed, you're putting us to shame. But, then again, I was your first International phone call EVER, so I assume you will forgive.

I am seriously turning greener with every blog you write....I want so bad to be back in Africa. I'd like to travel to a lot of the countries in Africa, but, I don't feel like I should be 'wasting' the money, when I already have a home in Africa that needs my help...maybe some day in the not too far future I will be back with my kids. Definitely jealous.

Also, you have me intrigued with this mysterious caller of yours...huh, who could it be? Let's ask a few yes/no questions: is he male? is he hot? do you love him? ;) The important questions indeed. If necessary, you can write me a private email so not to have to tell everyone. :D

Have a good weekend in Rwanda!

Erin, keep up the good work where you are. If you get a chance to listen to Trans World Radio do so. Its a christian radio network with stations and programs all around the world. My brother in law Steve Shant and his wife, my sister, are missionaries serving in Austria. They are very busy with the work that they do. As a result I understand how important it is to let missionaries know they are are being thought of.

I stumbled across your blog completely by accident, and being that you were from Canada, I had to read what you had posted. Needless to say I was impressed and realized that you are doing what God has led you to do. That is why I asked the questions that I did.

Erin, God will bless you and keep you. It is my prayer that His arms will encompass you in your daily activities.

    God bless.

Ok so I just have to say that I love how God totally works in mysterious ways. He always provides us with encouragment when we need it, even if it comes from someone we don't even know. I love how he continually blesses us with new friends, especially when they encourage you to live your life for Christ's purpose and do His will. I hope that we can all find time to encourage others like Ed is doing for Erin!
